  1. Prior to graduation, all students are required to pass an assessment in Intermediate Russian according to specified criteria.
  2. It is required that all students have at least four months (one semester) of class room experience in Russia.
  3. Those who do not have a basic knowledge of Russian are required to enrol in some of the following courses as deemed appropriate by their advisor.These courses are not counted as credits earned and are assessed as S/U.

Notes

  1. By approval of an academic advisor and the Program’s Committee Board, students are eligible to take graduate level courses, other than those in the Program, which are offered by Chulalongkorn University.
  2. Students who take Plan A are required to conduct their research for a thesis and may, instead of taking elective courses in the Program, enrol in classes offered by Russian universities which have a collaborative arrangement with Chulalongkorn University.
  3. Students who take Plan B are required to write a master’s project and, instead of taking elective courses in the Program, enrol in courses offered by Russian universities which have a collaborative arrangement with Chulalongkorn University.
  4. With the prior approval of the Program’s Board Committee Board and the Interdisciplinary Program’s Committee Board, the grades obtained from enrolment according to 2 and 3, and not exceeding one third of the total credits taken, may be computed for the Grade Point Average.
